Prayer Breakfast
February 14, 2015 - Guest Speaker, Brian Holdsworth
Brian Holdsworth is the president of Holds Worth Design, a web design, graphic design and communications studio in Edmonton. Shortly after graduating high school in 2000, Brian felt called to re evaluate his perception of God and religion. That process led to his conversion to Christianity but he remained confused about what was next and where to attend church. After a brief stint of church shopping, Brian turned to reading about church history and especially the reformation. On each point of contention, Brian found himself agreeing with the Catholic position and this eventually led to his conversion to the Catholic Church. Since then, Brian has been an active member in his diocese, starting in music ministry at his parish. Brian also became the founding director a young adult ministry in the Archdiocese of Edmonton called The Point. This ministry ran for over half a decade and reached hundreds of young adults through its Friday night sessions as well as an online audience. As Brian’s career evolved, he felt called to start his own business in the hopes of also aiding the church in the realm of communication through design media and online marketing.
