Guest Speaker: Katie Fahlman

Katie Fahlman was born and raised in Wapella, SK, and is the oldest of five siblings. She studied computer technology at SAIT in Calgary and for eleven years she worked as a computer consultant, living in Australia, Edmonton, England and Calgary. In 2009 after experiencing a conversion of heart and mind at a Face to Face retreat, Katie desired to learn more about her faith so she moved back to her home province to attend a nine-month faith formation program at St. Thérèse School of Faith and Mission in Bruno, SK. After a year of formation, Katie was offered the opportunity to assist in the work of St. Thérèse Institute. As the Development & Recruitment Coordinator she is able to support their mission and share her faith and experience with others. She enjoys traveling, being outside, gardening and learning about the saints — those whom have lived life to the full. She feels very blessed to live and work in a small community and for the many opportunities to continue to grow in holiness like her dear sister St. Thérèse
